Stage 1: Lyon to Trévoux - Lights and History
The journey begins in the heart of the city of Lyon, famous as the "City of Lights". After hiring one of our quality bikes from Paulette, head north along the River Saône and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Your first port of call: Trévoux, a town renowned for its medieval charm. An unmissable visit to this historic town will immerse you in the history of the former capital of the Principality of Dombes. Stage 2: Thoissey - Cultural charm
From Trévoux, hop on your bike and cycle to Thoissey via the unspoilt natural setting of the towpath along the Val de Saône. If you like cultural discoveries, the church of Sainte-Madeleine is home to the Sarrabat paintings, a real artistic gem to be discovered on your cycling adventure.
Stage 3: Mâcon - Capital of Southern Burgundy
Continuing your journey along the Saône, you'll gradually leave behind the charms of the Beaujolais region and make your way to Mâcon, the capital of southern Burgundy. When you arrive, you'll be seduced from the first pedal strokes by its narrow streets and historic monuments, such as the ancient cathedral and Vieux Saint-Vincent. Stage 4: Fleurville - In the footsteps of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

The former Café de la Marine, on the banks of the Saône, became famous thanks to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of "The Little Prince", who used to frequent this place to meet up with his friend Léon Werth. Stage 5: Tournus - Architecture

Stage 6: Chalon-sur-Saône - The final stage
