Paris : What to do in the area with your hire bike

Paris is an incredible city, but sometimes you need a break from the city hustle and bustle. There's nothing like a bike ride to discover the wonders nearby the City of Light! Start your adventure from our Paulette bike hire office, ideally located at 115 rue Brancion.

We've got three routes for you to cycle, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of Paris to discover some picturesque countryside. Ready to pedal your way to new horizons ?

Itinerary 1: The Vallée de la Bièvre by bike

Starting from our bike hire office, you will first take a cycle path along the rue de la Porte d'Orléans. This path will gradually lead you towards the Vallée de la Bièvre, offering an escape in the heart of lush countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

Along the way, you'll be able to admire the charm of numerous farms, shared gardens and bucolic landscapes.

Don't hesitate to drop off your bike and stop off in one of the villages in the Vallée de la Bièvre, such as Arcueil or Gentilly, where you can sample some delicious local produce.

Itinerary 2: Cycling along the banks of the Marne

For this second itinerary, head for the Bois de Vincennes from the bike hire office. Then cycle through the charming communes of Saint-Maurice, Joinville-le-Pont and Nogent-sur-Marne to reach the banks of the Marne.

Cycle along the Marne, passing magnificent Belle Époque mansions and a host of waterside restaurants.

If you're in the mood to relax, or if you're going away with the family, leave your bike behind for a while and take advantage of the many water sports on offer along the Marne. It's a trip full of discovery and pleasure!

Itinerary 3: The Forest of Fontainebleau by bike

For this final itinerary, we suggest you head south from the bike hire shop at 115 rue Brancion. Cycle through the pretty communes of Bagneux, Bourg-la-Reine and Sceaux before reaching the Forêt de Fontainebleau.

This majestic forest is the perfect place for a bike ride in the heart of nature. Follow one of the many cycling trails that wind through the woods. You'll be amazed by the beauty of the scenery, with its rock-climbing crags, ponds and waterfalls. It's an immersive escape into nature, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts in search of new discoveries by bike.

These three cycling routes around Paris invite you to discover the city's surroundings in a way that's both enjoyable and sporty. From now on, hire your bike from the Paulette rental agency, located at 115 rue Brancion, and set off to conquer the wonders that surround this city!
